Confusing Propositions...
In my research on local propositions, I encountered just a ridiculous amount of verbose explanations. At most times, I think they are wording it just to confuse the voter. Is it more or is this just plain confusing. And I'm not usually one for online acronyms but: WTF?
Proposition 102, Marriage AmendmentA yes vote shall have the effect of amending the Arizona constitution to define marriage as a union between one man and one woman, while maintaining the current statutory law of the State of Arizona, which prohibits marriage between persons of the same sex. A no vote shall have the effect of maintaining the current statutory law of the State of Arizona, which prohibits marriage between persons of the same sex, but would not amend the Arizona constitution to define marriage as a union between one man and one woman.

Top 10 Reasons Why NOT to Vote
You should NOT vote if you:
1.) Attained your facts from Saturday Night Live (SNL)
2.) Can't tell the difference between Sarah Palin and Tina Fey
3.) Can't list at least 3 propositions in your local elections, and what they stand for.
4.) Can't list at least 3 propositions about both presidential candidates
5.) Were told by Leonardo DiCaprio or any other celebrity for that matter to do so.
6.) Are afraid to DIE if you don't.
7.) Wear Barack/McCain clothing propaganda into the voting booths (because they sure won't even let you in)
8.) Forwarded non-crediable chain letters of bi-partisan (whether it was Democrat or Republican) to people you know who were the opposite party
9.) Because you think it's just the right thing to do, regardless who you vote for, or that you think you are wasting your freedom.
10.) Forgot to register to even vote.
On that note, I comprehend that our Troops lay their life on the line to protect our freedoms we all enjoy today. I have friends currently serving in Iraq and overseas, and my father served the US Air Force for nearly 21+ years. I mean no disrespect to the men and women who gave that right to me, and I am grateful for that.
On the other hand, I believe in having an educated voting experience based on fact and research. It's one thing to believe in utilizing the right to vote but voting for the wrong reason (perhaps any of the ten listed above), I believe is the wrong thing to do. If you are going to vote, do it with dignity and make an educational decision.

The Reverse Maverick
I disagree with the Hardball commentary and Pat Buchanan. In the current media state, you can't distant yourself from pop media. McCain did a stand up job. It's just an unfortunate shadow of a situation he has to follow from others before him.
